Tromsų Norway

Tromsų can trace its history back to the 13th century but was not given the status of a town until 1794. Thanks to its location, it makes a very good starting point for polar expeditions, fishermen and adventurers. That is how it came to be called Ishavsbyen, the Arctic city by the sea. The busy life in this commercial and administrative center earned it a new name, the Paris of the North. In 1990, It was given another new name. A warm Winter City.
